It depends on many factors...photorealistic portraits can take anywhere from 30-80 hours to create, for example. Good work takes time! When we discuss details of the project, I can give an estimate of timing.

Short answer...I can reproduce what I see, so if you send me a lo-res photo without much detail, that's the drawing you'll get back. If you want to really be wowed with detail, make sure the photo is as high resolution as possible.

Good question. When we discuss details of the project, we can go over broad strokes (like colors, graphic elements, imagery, etc) that you'd like incorporated. If you don't know, that's ok! I'll take whatever notes I get and work up 3 digital rough images to give you options for the final composition. Keep in mind, the final will obviously vary a bit from the agreed upon design, but not by a lot. You'll have a good idea of what you'll be getting!
